JAMESTOWN, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A 41-year-old Fentress Count man has been indicted for "doctor shopping" in Cumberland County.

TennCare officials say Anthony W. Ausmus is charged with four counts of fraudulently obtaining the prescription drug MS Contin by going to multiple doctors in a short period of time to get the drug. MS Contin is the generic drug for Morphine.

Ausmus faces up to two years in prison for each of the four TennCare fraud charges.

I called TennCare to report a woman for doctor shopping and selling morphine and oxycontin to my granddaughter and it is still going on.

That's what is wrong with Tenncare, people like him abuse it. My girls are getting ready to be cut off from it. The kids and elderly who need it can't get it, but the drug addicts can.

Tenncare is a waste of tax payer money. Get a job that provides insurance. My wife and i work so we can support our family why shouldn't everyone else? Instead lets give everything to the lower class cause they are too lazy to work. Democraps keep takeing from the middle class and giving to the lower class and guess what? who do you think keeps america going, lower class, middle class or upper class. The lower class spounge off everyone, the upper class is such a minority they do not have as big of an inpact on the economics, and the middle class gets screwed.

I don't know how these people have TennCare. I had to have emergency surgery I couldn't get help with my hospital & medical expenses with TennCare and my kids are on TennCare but I was told that it is unavailable to adults. We make less than 30,000 a year for a family of 5 which is considered poverty level.People that abuse the system deserve jail. I have to pay almost $300 for 3 prescriptions each month that I have to have, and I do without 4 others that I was advised to take by the doctors. It's the same old verbage I have worked 25 yrs and my husband 40 and because of the abuse allowed by the government and people like this guy people like me can't get emergency help when we need it. I hope he gets a nice long vacation courtesy of the STATE !
