Knoxville (WVLT) - Several reports of damage, but nothing serious, from the storm.

It hit our studio around eight p.m. and lasted about 40 minutes. The rain pounded so hard many drivers had to pull over to the side of the road. You could barely see.
In other areas, the roads were flooded.

Right now, more than 11,000 KUB customers are reportedly without power. Also several reports of trees down throughout the night.

Our cameras found one on Piney Grove Church Road that fell during the storm and blocked a lane of traffic. Neighbors were quick to help with their chainsaws and cut the tree apart so drivers could get through.

Well, it's kinda hard to not be out on the roads when it's right when a lot of people are on their way home or out eating dinner (like I was). And like CFR said, periods ARE your friends, and please, PLEASE spell out the words right.
