SEVIER COUNTY (WVLT) It's a situation that could have ended much differently.

This morning around 7:27 am, a truck traveling on Highway 66 in Sevierville lost its load, which included razor blades.

The blades fell into traffic, causing more than 10 vehicles to get flat tires.

City of Sevierville spokesperson Bob Stahlke says the razors were likely industrial, and not ones that people use on an everyday basis.

Until about 8:15 am, traffic had to be rerouted into one of the northbound lanes.

It was cleaned up around 8:30 am.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
