Knoxville's IdleAire files bankruptcy Save Email Print

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT/ AP) -- Knoxville-based IdleAire, which makes combination in-cab HVAC/ Internet/ TV units for big-rig truckers, has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The company, started eight years ago, filed a report with the Securities and Exchange Commission saying they expected a $93 million net loss in FY2007 on about $37 million in revenue.

The bankruptcy papers say the company owes more than $303.5 million in debts, but has only a $210.8 million in assets.
