CARROLLTON, Ky. (WVLT) -- Wednesday marks the 20th anniversary of the deadliest alcohol related crash in history. It happened in Kentucky.
On May 14, 1988, a pickup going the wrong way on I-71 near Carrollton, Ky. collided with a church bus.
27 people -- mostly teenagers -- were killed.
Several others were injured.
Wednesday, a local church will hold a candlelight vigil, and place a wreath with 27 roses at the site of the crash.
