BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Four teens are in jail facing burglary charges in connection with two burglaries in South Blount County.
Blount County Sheriff's Deputies arrested three suspects when they responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle. They found an SUV matching the description at a home on Bert Garner Lane. Deputies found the back door kicked in, and they heard voices inside the home, according to a BCSO press release.
One of the suspects jumped through a window, and two more suspects took off on foot. Kenneth Wayne Bryant, 18; Caleb Tyler Burch, 18; and Justin Lee Chafin, 18, were all arrested about 300 yards away. They are each charged with burglary and aggravated burglary.
"During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that a fourth man...was with the group on an earlier break-in to a detached garage on Mint Road," the release said. Deputies arrested Robby J. Thomas Sneed, 18, and charged him with burglary. The release says items taken from the garage were found in Sneed's home.
