ALCOA, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A 17-year-old Alcoa boy is in custody facing aggravated assault charges in connection with a fireworks assault in Early July.

Alcoa Police say three suspects launched fireworks into 36-year-old Brandi Sudderith's car on July 5, setting her on fire on West Fulton Street.

Sudderith described the suspects as black males between the ages of 15 and 20 years old, one with dreadlocks, the other two with short hair.

The name of the teen in custody is not being released due to his age.

Sudderith continues to recover from her burns.
