NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Troubled country singer Mindy McCready is in an extended-care facility for undisclosed treatment.

The 32-year-old singer was charged in June with violating her probation, specifically falsifying her community service records. She is on probation for a 2004 drug charge.

McCready had a No. 1 single in 1996 with "Guys Do It All the Time," but her career has declined as she had personal problems the past few years.

Her treatment was first reported Wednesday night on The Tennessean Web site, citing her New York publicity company as the source.

An after-hours call by The Associated Press to the company, Susan Blond Inc., was not returned.
