KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Wrecker crews were clearing the last of the debris from a truck crash from Interstate 40 in Knoxville as the Friday morning commute ended.
Two tractor-trailer rigs collided around 1:30 a.m EDT, scattering cargo across the eastbound lanes of the highway on the city's west side.
Officials got one eastbound lane of the four-lane stretch reopened quickly, but the other three lanes were closed until after the morning rush as the trucks were towed and the cargo picked up.
One of the trucks was a United Parcel Service vehicle.
The truck drivers had only minor injuries and no other vehicles were involved.

how many truck accidents need to occur before law enforcement works to slow the trucks down. I do a lot of in town diving, and when I see police handing out tickets its rarely to a speding truck driver. WAKE UP KPD and THP its not just a cute girl in a sports car thats breaking the law.
What caused the wreck? Did anyone ask? Anyone charged? This story doesn't have much useful information.
