MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Fourteen people are charged with TennCare fraud following an undercover investigation in Warren county.
According to the Office of Inspector General, 11 of the 14 suspects have been arrested.
They are each charged with selling prescription drugs paid for by TennCare.
Here's a list of the 11 people arrested so far:
- Amanda D. Chaple, 24, of McMinnville, charged with one count of TennCare fraud for selling the painkiller Hydrocodone to an undercover agent which was she obtained through a physician’s visit which was paid for by TennCare;
- Jennifer L. Parson, 41, of McMinnville, charged with one count of TennCare fraud for selling Hydrocodone which she obtain through a physician’s visit at a local pain clinic paid for by TennCare;
- John Reed, 45, of McMinnville, charged with one count of TennCare fraud for selling Hydrocodone to an undercover agent, which he had obtained through a physician’s visit which was paid for by TennCare;
- Kristy D. Herron, 26, of McMinnville, charged with one count of TennCare fraud for selling Hydrocodone, paid for by TennCare;
- Tabatha A. Avalos, 25, of McMinnville, charged with one count of TennCare fraud for selling Hydrocodone to an undercover agent, with TennCare paying for the doctor visit where the prescription was written;
- April Hickey, 31, of McMinnville, charged with one count of TennCare fraud for selling Diazepam, an anti-anxiety medication, which she had obtained using TennCare to pay for a provider’s office visit;
- Emmanuel Taylor, 49, of McMinnville, charged with one count of TennCare fraud for selling Hydrocodone for selling to undercover agent, which was paid for by TennCare;
- Heather Lopez, 32, of McMinnville, charged with one count of TennCare fraud for selling Hydrocodone to an undercover agent, which TennCare had paid for;
- Tatum Marlin, 22, of McMinnville, charged with one count of TennCare fraud for selling Hydrocodone to an undercover agent, which TennCare had paid for;
- Theresa Smith, 49, of Rock Island, charged with two counts of TennCare fraud for selling Hydrocodone to an undercover agent which TennCare paid for on two separate occasions;
- Thomas Hart, 58, of McMinnville, charged with two counts of TennCare fraud for selling Hydrocodone for selling to an undercover agent, which TennCare paid for on two separate occasions.
