MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -- A Middle Tennessee State University student, going to her second day of classes, was slashed in a dispute over a campus parking space.
The Daily News Journal in Murfreesboro quoted campus police as saying 17-year-old Ashley Ramsay suffered a number of lacerations to the left hand, upper arm near the shoulder and to the left side of her face.
As he waited during his daughter's surgery Wednesday night, Tim Ramsay said the cut to his daughter's temple was the worst injury.
MTSU police arrested 19-year-old Starlett Custer after the incident Wednesday morning and charged her with aggravated assault.

i think this is a shame that someone would resort to cutting someone over a parking spot. it just wasn't worth it. the one that commited the crime should pay for the crime severely!

speedy you can't blame MTSU for this persons mental problems. so you have to walk a little further, it's a nice little work out

If they hadn't installed that stupid traffic circle which took out over 100 parking spots than this wouldn't have happened. Great job MTSU.
