Man killed, child hurt when tree falls on truck Save Email Print

LEXINGTON, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Highway Patrol said a Lexington man was killed when a large tree fell onto his pickup truck as he drove on a Henderson County road.

The Jackson Sun reported Brandon Powers, who was 33 years old, was killed in the incident Tuesday about four miles south of Lexington on Pine Knob Road.

Powers' 1-year-old son was taken to the Henderson County Community Hospital.

Now tell me it wasn't his time. Being there right at the exact moment the tree fell. And his son not killed. It goes to show u never know......
