CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- Chattanooga police recovered a Taser that an officer lost when the holster broke free from his belt two days earlier.

Police Sgt. Jerri Weary in a statement Thursday said some Chattanooga residents found the device and notified police.

The officer who lost the device Tuesday night was not identified. He was working a traffic accident at the time.
