East Tennessee companies facing job cuts
In the face of these tough economic times, comes word that more jobs are being eliminated from several East Tennessee counties.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- In the face of these tough economic times, comes word that more jobs are being eliminated from several East Tennessee counties.
The Department of Labor and Workforce Development reports that more than 200 East Tennessee jobs have been or will be eliminated.
Here is how the numbers break down for the area:
Sixty of the positions are at British Aero Equipment in Jefferson County.
Forty-four jobs at Giles Industries in Claiborne County are gone.
The positions of 23 workers at Knoxville Sash and Door were eliminated.
Forty more jobs were cut at Knoxville's Community Development Agency.
Also in East Tennessee, 51 jobs were lost at Lincoln Brass works in Campbell County.
