KNOXVILLE (WVLT) – Police are still trying to sort out exactly what happened in a North Knoxville parking lot early Sunday morning.
Witnesses tell investigators that three men were involved in a fight between the parking lots of the Quality Inn and Knights Inn on Central Avenue Pike just before 2:00 AM.
Apparently one of the men was struck and killed by a car at some point during the fight. A second man was injured and had to be taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment. Neither of the victims names has been released.
Police said the driver of the car fled the scene, but called them to report the incident.

"Police said the driver of the car fled the scene, but called them to report the incident. " I wonder who this guy is related to, it was sure nice that he could call and report it and maybe clean himself up before not going to jail?
