Knox Co. (WVLT) - Police are searching for a man they say robbed the Kenjo Market on Sevierville Pike in South Knoxville.
The Knoxville Police Department says that just after two Tuesday morning a man walked into the Kenjo market armed with a rifle and demanded money from the cashier.
The robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen heading toward the apartments behind the Kenjo.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, possibly hispanic about 5'8 about 140 pounds.
He was wearing a blue or black bandana, a black hoodie and blue jeans.
This is the same Kenjo market where store employee, 19-year-old Bradley Shawn Wyrick, was arrested on Monday and charged with aggravated arson, theft and a weapons charge.
Wyrick allegedly started a fire in to market to cover up a theft of money.
