Teen dies in Grainger County crash
A 17-year-old boy is dead after a single-car crash on Indian Ridge Road in Blaine in Grainger County Monday evening.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A 17-year-old boy is dead after a single-car crash on Indian Ridge Road in Blaine in Grainger County Monday evening.
Authorities say Carson Andrew Howard was driving eastbound on Indian Ridge Road in a Toyota Supra when he ran off the road and hit a pole.
Howard was wearing a seat bealt, and police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
Howard was taken to UT Medical Center by ground ambulance because Lifestar was not able to fly.
Howard died early Tuesday morning.

I know what its like to lose someone. I go to Cental and I know exactly how everyone at that school feels. Don't let your hope down. Losing someone that you loved is hard but one day it will start to be easy. My thoughts and prayers are with this family.
