CHURCH HILL, Tenn. (AP) -- Two students from a high school in northeast Tennessee have been arrested on felony drug charges.
Hawkins County Sheriff Roger Christian told the Kingsport Times-News that on Monday, a 17-year-old boy was brought to the office of Volunteer High School under the influence.
He had bought a potent muscle relaxant called Klonopin and took the pills, Christian said.
Two other students -- both 18 -- were arrested and charged with selling narcotics, a violation of the Drug Free School Zone Act, and felony reckless endangerment.
They were identified as Benjamin Harrison Smith of Church Hill and Zachery Steven Blizzard of Surgoinsville.
All three youths were taken to a hospital. The 18-year-olds were then jailed.
