NEW YORK (AP) -- New York City's ultra-Orthodox Jews have given the Amish a walking tour of their world.

Several dozen Amish residents from Lancaster County, Pa., toured Brooklyn's Crown Heights neighborhood with members of the Hasidic Jewish community on Tuesday.

Rabbi Beryl Epstein, a Chattanooga, Tenn., native, calls the tour "living Judaism."

The tour began in the basement of a Hasidic library, with Epstein explaining similarities between the two communities, such as their old-fashioned dress.

The neighborhood is home to an ultra-Orthodox Lubavitcher sect born about 200 years ago in Russia.
