KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A little girl is home safe after her grandmother claims she was kidnapped.
Knoxville police say they got a call from Maynard Avenue around 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
The woman told investigators that she is the girl's legal guardian, but, the non-custodial mother came by the house and swiped the girl when she answered the door.
Officers followed leads and searched for the little girl for a few hours.
In the end, she was found with her mother, Christy Harden, on Bells Campground Road.
Harden has been charged with custodial interference.
She's in jail on $50,000 bond.
