KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police say a man was stabbed Sunday afternoon and they arrested his wife for it.
Officers answered a call on Grainger Avenue.
The man told officers his wife Charlie Everett stabbed him in the back then left.
Investigators say they spotted her on Broadway, and that looked as if she had wrecked her car into the curb.
Officers say she then got out of her car, and they found her hiding underneath a house.
She had a cut on her leg where she had gotten into a scuffle with her husband.
Ms. Everett went to the hospital for her injuries, but was taken into custody on charges of aggravated assault, drunken driving and fleeing.
