KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Deputies arrested one man and are searching for another after a home-invasion shooting in East Knox County early Thursday morning.
Tyler Seth Cate, 23, is charged with attempted first degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, and especially aggravated burglary, according to a Knox County Sheriff's Office release.
"Cate is one of two masked suspects who smashed a window to break into the house at 312 Corum Road at 3:25 a.m.," the KCSO release states. "According to the warrants, Cate started yelling that he knew the victim had gotten his medication that day and began firing a handgun at him."
Michael Pressley, 31, was shot in head and hand, and he suffered two head wounds, where bullets grazed him, the KCSO release says. Pressley was also beaten on the head, deputies say.
Pressley recognized Cate when a bandana he was wearing slipped off his face.
Presley's wife and four children were home at the time of the attack, but they were not injured.
The only description deputies have of the second suspect is that he's a white man.

Yeah, Tyler is always like that. Smug little idiot. He's probably more proud than ashamed.
