W. Knoxville movie theater robbed, suspect hunted
Knoxville Police are looking for a suspect in an apparent armed robbery at a West Knoxville movie theater.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville Police are looking for a suspect in an apparent armed robbery at a West Knoxville movie theater.
Dispatchers say the robbery call came in just before noon Monday at the Carmike Movies Seven off North Peters Road on Seven Oaks Drive.
Reports from the scene indicate that the suspect may be driving a stolen vehicle that belongs to a theater employee.
The suspect is a white man who was wearing a blue and white shirt and carrying a green bag. He was armed with a handgun.
Anyone with information should call police.
