Why is KPD that far out in the county? Did any Fire Departments respond? (Knox Rescue does not provide firefighting services). let me help with the rest of the story. Rural/Metro Fire Department firefighters responded with Knox Rescue Squad, TWRA and Blount County to find a small watercraft fully engulfed in flames. Both passengers on the boat were able to escape without injuries. Rural/Metro firefighters were able to extinguish the fire without any additional injuries.
