Husband charged with allegedly killing wife in Claiborne County
A Claiborne County man is facing criminal homicide charges after allegedly strangling his wife to death in their home Wednesday, according to Claiborne County Sheriff David Ray.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Claiborne County man is facing criminal homicide charges after allegedly strangling his wife to death in their home Wednesday, according to Claiborne County Sheriff David Ray.
Ray says Tony Harrison, 39, of New Tazewell killed Vickie Harrison, 42, sometime Wednesday morning. Deputies called to the scene found her body early Thursday morning in a bedroom of the Mariah Lane home.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Tony Harrison walked into the Claiborne County Sheriff's Office sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning and told officers he killed his wife.
Vicki Harrison was a Realtor in New Tazewell.
Tony Harrison is in the Claiborne County jail.
