KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police say a man armed with a shotgun went on a crime spree in Knoxville Saturday night.
It started just before 9:30 p.m. at a laundromat at 1116 Sevier Avenue in South Knoxville.
A black man dressed in all black and wearing a bandanna over his face allegedly ordered three people inside the store at gunpoint.
He took car keys from one of the victims and then fled in the stolen car.
About an hour later, a man with the same description robbed the Food Lion at 6221 River View Crossing. He was still armed with the shotgun.
Then, half an hour later, officers found the stolen car abandoned on Parker Drive, off Rutledge Pike.
K-9s tried to track him, but with no success.
