Deputies Raid Restaurant After Gambling Claims
Sevier County Deputies raided a diner on Asheville Highway Thursday after reports of illegal gambling devices.

Sevierville, Sevier County (WVLT) – Sevier County Deputies raided a diner on Asheville Highway Thursday after reports of illegal gambling devices.
According to the Sheriff's Department, deputies found four video poker machines at the Speedway Diner, which were confiscated. The owner of the diner, 54-year-old Sharon D. Tarwater was cited for possession of illegal gambling devices by the deputies.
According to Sheriff Ron Seals, the department is actively investigating any claims of illegal gaming devices.
Tarwater's arraignment is set for April 27th.
