Frost Advisory for part of East Tennessee, Monday morning
The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a Frost Advisory for part of East Tennessee, for the early Monday morning hours.

PINPOINT 8 DOPPLER WEATHER CENTER -- The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a Frost Advisory for part of East Tennessee, for the early Monday morning hours.
Temperatures are expected to fall into the 30's across most of the region overnight, with areas of frost likely developing around sunrise, so the advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. until 8 a.m. Monday.
The Advisory is in effect for: Anderson, Bledsoe, Northwest Blount, Bradley, Northwest Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Hamilton, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Northwest Monroe, West Polk, Rhea Sequatchie, North Sevier, and Union counties.
A Frost Advisory means that frost is expected in areas that have not experienced a hard freeze yet this season.
Protect those sensitive outdoor plants, with a sheet or a blanket. Drape it across the plants and secure it, so the heat from the ground is trapped in with the plants.
