CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Interstate 40 has reopened after a wreck involving a vehicle and two tractor trailers happened at mile marker 335 Saturday afternoon.
THP says Donna Brennen was traveling in the Eastbound lanes when she crossed over the median in her car and crashed head on into a tractor trailer. The truck then burst into flames and the impact forced that truck to crash into another tractor trailer carrying two passengers, Gerald Rhoden and Raymond Martin.
Brennen was killed and Rhoden and Martin of the second tractor trailer were injured and sent to the hospital.
No information has been released about the two passengers of the first tractor trailer.
