Knoxville (AP) -- Hundreds of Honda motorcycle enthusiasts have started arriving in Knoxville for the 14th Annual Honda Hoot.

Wednesday night was Bike Night at the World's Fair Park to open the four-day rally.

Scott Metzger and his son, Jason, rode to the Hoot together from Great Falls, Montana.

The nearly four-day trip over more than 2,000 miles included torrential downpours and tornadoes.

The annual rally offers riders a chance to wind through rolling hills and green forests, take test drives offered by manufacturers and meet other riders from across the country.

Events Thursday include a ride to the Cumberland Gap, Fall Creek Falls and the Cumberland Playhouse in Crossville.
