KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A federal judge has scheduled an April 20 trial for a University of Tennessee student accused of hacking the personal e-mail of former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
U.S. Magistrate Clifford Shirley set the date Wednesday at a motions hearing in the case of 22-year-old David C. Kernell. He is accused of gaining access to Palin's account in September 2008 by correctly answering a series of personal security questions. He has pleaded not guilty.
Wade Davies, Kernell's attorney, told the court there are people throughout the country, including Alaska, involved in the case. Palin is former governor of Alaska.
Kernell's father is Democratic state Rep. Michael Kernell of Memphis.

How does Debra from LA know he's a leftist jerk? He may only have a school boy crush on Mrs. Palin. Mrs. Palin doesn't need Debra's help. She can take care of herself. NO need to call for the Airheads of the Nation to unite!
It's about time this little leftist get's his day in court. If this boy's father can't pay to get him out of trouble, via a high-priced attorney, prison will not be kind to the twerp. A lot life lessons coming your way, you little jerk!
