NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A sinkhole has developed just outside LP Field, home of the Tennessee Titans.
It's 5 to 6 feet deep and 30 feet wide, possibly caused by early May flooding that covered the field inside the stadium.
Walter Overton, general manager of facilities operations at the stadium, told WKRN-TV that the sidewalk outside the stadium started to shift a few weeks after the flood.
Mayor Karl Dean said the sinkhole will be repaired well before football season.
Officials with the Nashville Sports Authority said the situation will be assessed.
