Bell Co. woman, teen busted on pot and meth charges
The Bell County Sheriff’s Department arrested a woman and teenager early Thursday morning on Marijuana growing and meth-making charges.

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WVLT) – The Bell County Sheriff’s Department arrested a woman and teenager early Thursday morning on Marijuana growing and meth-making charges.
Deputies said it happened while officers were following up on a three week long investigation in the Cubbage area of Brownies Creek.
Officers were investigating a property when they discovered 92 plants they believed to be marijuana. They also said they discovered various controlled substances and all the necessary components to manufacture methamphetamine.
Linda Haynes, 43 of Miracle, Kentucky was taken into custody and charged with cultivation of five or more marijuana plants, first and second degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacturing methamphetamine. She remained locked up in the Bell County Detention Center on Thursday night with no bond set.
A 16-year old boy was also taken into custody and charged. His name and charges were not released due to his age.
