MADISONVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Monroe County Sheriff's Department arrested two people for assault charges after an incident at the jail.
The charges come after District Attorney General Steve Bebb looked over information on what happened at the Monroe County Jail on January 17, 2012.
Bebb filed the assault charges against two former Monroe County deputies, John Wilburn and Thomas Goodman.
No information has been given to us about what happened.
Both men are out of jail on $1000 bonds.
