COCKE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Cocke County man faces charges of sexual battery by an authority figure and solicitation of a minor.
Cocke County deputies arrested Randy York, 35, on two outstanding warrants related to two separate incidents.
The first happened on January 13. A 12-year-old girl told investigators York picked her up from her grandmother's house because school was canceled that day and she wanted to get out of the house.
The girl said York asked her if she wanted to do anything else, and when she replied no, he asked her why she got smart with him. She said she replied, "Because you're creeping me out."
The girl claimed that a few minutes later, York pulled out his erect penis and a bundle of cash that she estimated to be around $300. She said he told her he would give her half of it if she would "jack him off". When she refused, she said he grabbed her arm and pulled it toward him to try to force her, so she punched him in the arm so he would let go and he took her home.
The girl said she was scared her family wouldn't believe her so she didn't report it at first, but when she learned that York had allegedly done something similar to one of her friends, she decided to come forward.
The second incident happened on Monday, February 6. Another 12-year-old girl told investigators that York picked her up at her house to take her to a friend's house to go to a football game. The girl claimed that York asked her if she had any money and she told him yes, she had $10. She said he asked her if she wanted more and gave her another $10. She said it wasn't uncommon for York to give her family money.
The girl told police that a few minutes later he asked her if she wanted $50 more. She said yes and claimed he told her, "Then let me see your breasts." She told him to keep his money, but said he kept asking if she was sure she didn't want it.
When they arrived at the friend's house, the girl went inside and told a woman who lived there what had happened. The woman came outside and told York the girl wasn't getting back in the truck. She said he sped away after that.
York was arrested on Wednesday, February 8, and his bond was set at $25,000 on each warrant.
