KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- One woman was sent to the hospital following an overnight shooting in front of the Green Hills Apartments on Natchez Ave., according to the Knoxville Police Dept.
Authorities said the woman was grazed in the head by a bullet and they expect her to recover.
She was shot just after midnight Thursday morning near Building C in the complex, they said. Officials believe an argument between around seven women escalated to the point shots were fired. In addition to the woman who was injured, several car windows were shattered.
A Local 8 News team spotted at least four women in the back of a police cruiser, but right now police have not said if any arrests were made.
