KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(WVLT) -- Knoxville has a lot of good restaurants to
choose from and now you can enjoy a great meal and give back to a needy organization at the same time.
Knoxville Restaurant Week was created to enjoy one of 30 eateries
in the community. A portion of your total bill is then given to Second Harvest Food Bank.
Last year enough was raised to feed 120 people.
Paul Hotte, the General Manager of Ruth's Chris Steak House, explained the concept.
"Each restaurant will serve a $25 dollar or a $35 dollar
menu and $5 dollars will go to Second Harvest Food Bank."
Knoxville Restaurant Week runs February 26 through March 2nd.
