Roane Co. firefighter out of hospital after horse collision

ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)--The Roane County firefighter who hit a horse is finally home from the hospital.

Caleb Wilson's car collided with a horse about a month ago.

The animal was killed, but Wilson spent the last few weeks in intensive care.

Wednesday the fire department held a welcome home ceremony for Wilson.

He will have to continue physical therapy for a while, but no more surgeries are expected.

Wilson is still with the fire department, but on light duty.
