KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville Police say they've detained multiple people in connection with reports of shots fired near Clinton Plaza in north Knoxville Tuesday evening.
Authorities responded to the scene, near the intersection of Kermit Dr. and Clinton Plaza Dr., shortly after 5:00 p.m.
A witness told Volunteer News that a bondsman had been chasing a suspect when the bondsman fired at least three shots and then tackled the suspect.
Knoxville Police say that everyone involved in the incident has been taken for questioning.
