KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A pick-up truck's wrong turn causes a traffic tie-up in East Knoxville.
The truck was heading west-bound around the 7200 block of Asheville Highway a little before 2:30 Sunday afternoon.
Knoxville Police say the truck crossed the center lane, went off the road, down an embankment and lodged into several trees feet above the ground.
There were no other vehicles involved.
Police say there was no sign the driver had been drinking.
The driver was taken to UT Medical Center and is expected to be recover.
