Downs:"..I'm going to help push the guys and help them stay focused and in top shape."
Downs:"...Army training is tough, but it does carry over to boxing , making sure you cross your t's and dot your I's, staying disciplined."
Downs:"...I try to get the guys to make the hard right decision and not the easy wrong one. Keep their noses clean. It's all about carrying a good image."
Downs:"..Army training and boxing is the same, you've gotta be dedicated to your sport. You always have to be where you need to be and maintain a high level of training."
Downs:"..I've been stationed in Colorado and my main job right now is to be an athlete, but I'm still a soldier first and eventually going back to the line as infantry."
Downs:"..I don't get back to Knoxville often. I was their in June for a dual match with the Dominican republic. I always look forward to getting back and seeing friends and family, but right now I'm getting ready for Beijing. my family and friends do follow me on the internet."
Downs:"...Ace Miller over at Chilhowee Park has been a great part of this and always gives me a great place to box when I'm back home."
