(GoVolsXtra.com, Mike Strange) -- Tennessee will play its final SEC baseball series at Vanderbilt without third baseman Tyler Horne.

Coach Todd Raleigh confirmed Thursday that Horne was sent back to Knoxville as a disciplinary measure after an incident during the Vols’ 5-4 win at Middle Tennessee State on Tuesday night.

Horne, a junior from Newnan, Ga., was hitting .299 with 10 home runs. He had started 37 games.

Senior pitcher Ty’Relle Harris was suspended for the remainder of the season last weekend for a violation of team policy.
