(WVLT, Sports Overtime) -- The Vols Associate Athletics Director for Sales and Marketing, Chris Fuller will assume some of the responsibilities for the departing John Currie in the Athletic Department until the University decides the future of the position and a permanent replacment for Currie is found sometime likely before fall, according to Tennessee Athletics Director of Public Relations, Tiffany Carpenter.

Currie, executive associate athletic director, has been AD Mike Hamilton’s top aide for the past several years.
Kansas State has been seeking a replacement for Bob Krause. President-select Kirk Schulz told the Manhattan Mercury he expected to name an AD by June 1, but the announcement could be much sooner.

He has been a finalist for AD positions at Duke and Middle Tennessee State.
Other candidates who have been mentioned for the Kansas State opening at various times are Jeff Schemmel, athletic director at San Diego State and Illinois State athletic director Sheahon Zenger. Both are KSU alumni.
The school recently brought Bill Snyder out of retirement for a second term as football coach.
