The Commodores (19-5, 7-4 Southeastern Conference) got their first win against Tennessee since Jan. 11, 2009, by scoring their most points ever against their rival.
Vols win tenth straight against USC, 69-57
Potent 3-point shooting guided the Vols to their 10th consecutive victory over South Carolina with a 69-57 win on Wednesday night at Thompson-Boling Arena. Junior Skylar McBee nailed four 3-pointers on his way to a career-high 18 points to key the trifecta explosion as the Vols made 10 from beyond the arc. The win evened Tennessee's overall mark at 12-12 and moved the Vols to 4-5 in the SEC. The Gamecocks dropped their fourth in a row and fell to 9-14, 1-8 SEC.
