Top performers honored at PrepXtra banquet

(WVLT) -- Several Knoxville-area prep athletes and coaches received awards Wednesday at the PrepXtra Awards Banquet, which was held at the Ray Mears Room inside Thompson-Boling Arena.
Here are the honorees:
PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Jalen Steele, Fulton
Faith Dupree, Webb
COACH OF THE YEAR
Jody Wright, Fulton
Nathan Hodges, Bearden
SOPHOMORE OF THE YEAR
Lester Wilson, Carter
Haley Newby, Farragut
