(WVLT) -- Grace Christian basketball coach Anthony Lamb has resigned after five seasons at the school, Lamb confirmed to WVLT Thursday.

Lamb, who also serves as the school's athletic director, cited personal reasons as the motivation for his decision. Lamb told WVLT he plans to finish out his contract, which ends June 30.

Lamb led Grace to consecutive state tournament appearances in 2008 and 2009, after the team only won two games in his first season.

When Daryl Hobby asked Lamb if he wanted to coach again, he said, "Definitely."
