(UNDATED) -- Morristown East is looking for a new boys basketball coach.
The Citizen Tribune is reporting that Mike Wright has stepped down at the school and will take over the head coaching duties at Oakland High School in Murfreesboro.
Wright coached the Hurricanes for two years, compiling an overall record of 34-26. In his first season, Morristown East was 9-17. Last year, the Hurricanes made a significant jump, winning 25 games and losing just 9. For that performance, Wright was named the District 2-3A coach of the year.
