Knoxville, Tenn. -- Great basketball teams are made up of great basketball players.

Bearden was one of those teams this past season; and Demonte Simpson, Blake Jenkins, and Nathan Parker were three of those players.

Monday morning at Bearden High School, in front of several of their classmates, the trio signed letters-of-intent. All three will suit up next year at the college level.

6'9" Demonte Simpson inked with Florida Atlantic. Nathan Parker, a wing, signed with Wofford, while Blake Jenkins will head to Nashville and play for Belmont. All three were part of a Bearden team that posted a 35-3 record last season and made it to the quarterfinals of the state tournament.
