Catholic close to naming its new Football Coach

(WVLT, Sports Overtime) -- The Catholic Fighting Irish Football Team is close to naming a replacement for former Coach Mark Pemberton who now is in Georgia as the top dog on the gridiron and High School Athletic Director as well.
William Blount's Scott Meadows could be the man; in fact, he's one of three finalists according to Catholic's Athletic Director Jason Surlas.
Pemberton's replacement could be named as soon as tomorrrow.
Meadows, was slated to return to William Blount this fall, after taking a year off from coaching the Governor's last season.
Meadows also once led Alcoa to a state title.
The Catholic Fighting Irish open their Spring Football Practice on Monday.
