Catholic's Hood signs with Tennessee
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound Hood was named Mr. Football in Class 3A this past season.

(GoVolsXtra.com & Drew Edwards) -- Catholic High School tight end/defensive lineman Daniel Hood signed Tuesday to play football for Tennessee.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound Hood was named Mr. Football in Class 3A this past season.
Hood made 50 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and forced five fumbles in helping Catholic to the Class 3A state championship.. He also had nine catches for 207 yards and two scores.
